Grateful American Coin would like to welcome Tom Hollywood to our proud list of "Foot Soldiers in the field."
Tom collects those elongated, flatted pennies that can be found througout the country. He is also a member
of the American Numismatic Association. He first discovered GAC through an article in the March
2009 issue of the ANA monthly magazine. As our newest volunteer, Tom is helping to spread the word
about Grateful American Coin in his home state of Illinois.
Hands and Hearts is a group of people from Christ Lutheran Church in Santa Clarita, CA who have organized the "AnySoldier Project"
which reaches out to our troops deployed far from home. The AnySoldier Project assembles and ships care packages to soldiers,
packing them with sorely missed items from home as well as personal notes and other handmade items contributed by members of the
congregation.

fallen. He received approval and support from his employer and recruited
a few co-workers to assist with communication and work at a table in the cafeteria for several days leading
up to Memorial Day weekend. Harry sold 185 coins and would have sold more had he not run out. He plans to do something similar leading up to 4th of July.
